We ALWAYS save historic structures when we can. But sometimes insurance costs, planned development, or past neglect mean that a structure has to come down. When that happens, we save everything that can be reused. We remove surface nails and store materials out of the weather while they wait for the contractors, furniture makers, and do-it-yourselfers who love them as much as we do.
